Each sterling silver band of this series is individually hand wrought from a sterling silver or 22Kt gold blank. The intensive interaction with the metal through a process of hammering and filing makes the ring rough, yet comfortable. No two rings are the same and each ring is made to be subtly unique - just like you!
Done by eye, a grid is designed on the silver blank. Holes are then drilled perpendicular to the surface and in doing so, a pattern forms that is organically precise. The organic feel is aligned to the whole collection and is a quality shared by many of my pieces. The collection is inspired by the natural world rather than constraining symmetries and geometrical perfection.
The holes are fitted with a snugly fitting 22Kt gold stud that is riveted in position using a special tool. Each rivet sparkles like a gemstone. The substantial feel and rich detailing of these rings make them a favourite instantly.
Rings from this collection can be commissioned as wedding rings and can be made using precious metals including gold or platinum. The number of rivets can be adjusted so that they can symbolise any meaningful memories that you have.
Ring size 6
When you order a piece of jewellery please be sure to provide me with the correct sizes as it is best if you can get it right first time. To measure your finger the best option is to come by the studio. I will be happy to meet with you. If that is not possible ask me about a measuring gauge or ask your local jeweller to provide you with an accurate size by measuring your finger or by measuring another ring of the correct size.
If you do provide me with the wrong size, there may be a resizing fee as some pieces will require a complete re-make. I will do my best to accommodate this inconvenience and provide you with the best solutions.
Tips for Measuring your Ring Size
Your finger size can change during the day – the best time to measure is at the end of the day when your fingers are at their largest. Do not measure when your hands are cold as your fingers could be up to half a size smaller than usual!
A wider band will feel tighter than a narrower band. When purchasing a particularly wide band, we recommend choosing a full size larger than your normal ring size.
Your ring should fit your finger comfortably: it should be snug enough not to fall off, but loose enough to slide over your knuckle.
If you’re buying a gift, the best way to establish ring size is to borrow a ring of his/hers (from the correct finger) and use our ring measuring guide to determine its size.
